The Sports Luxe Fashion Scene

Sport Luxe Fashion

A favourite of mine personally as I'm never out of my jogging bottoms and Calvin Klein comfies. In the city it's great to be able to be comfortable while on the go but still be wearing a street-stopping stylish outfit.

The sport luxe trend seems to becoming an almost permanent category for the fashion industry giants - both fast fashion and high-end. It seems to have always been around in menswear and can be so easily worn by most guys - effortless style, and now this laid back yet effective trend is becoming more of a staple throughout the womenswear sector too.

Across the board it's becoming less of just a casual day trend to evening and nightwear with beautiful, contemporary styles coming through that can be worn with a minimal outfit and killer heels.

Even childrenswear is changing rapidly too, taking on a more relaxed view to styling and outfits compared to traditional outlooks on baby and childrenswear.

Like many trends other industries seemed to have an impact on this style evolution with celebrity culture enforcing that these styles are easy to wear and still adaptable to your own personal sense of style.

It's not just a trend that's taken the garments and designers collections by storm, it's the concepts behind campaigns it's the shows, it's the innovative performance fabrics.

'We do a lot of work specifically with athletes and out of that process comes a product that is quite unique: an item. That has very strong influence beyond that one item.' - Mark Parker, CEO of Nike.

It really is a revolution of the time; in which fashion is simply a pioneer.
